As part of our ongoing commitment to Product Safety, it is our company policy to ensure all our products meet safety standards in line with all UK and European Legislation. Despite all the measures we have taken we have identified a potential problem with the product shown above. Testing has identified that the sand like material contained inside some products may contain trace amounts of asbestos therefore as a precautionary measure we are recalling this product from sale.

If you have purchased the product shown above, STOP USING IMMEDIATELY and follow the below Disposal instructions; If the sand has been used, clean up sites where the product was used using wet cloths to avoid generating dust. Wear gloves?and a mask. Double bag the sand, gloves, mask and cloths. If the packaging the sand was supplied in is undamaged, place it in a heavy-duty plastic bag and double tape it securely. Keep children and other people away from areas where the sand has been used until the area has been cleaned.

Return the sand from the product to this store for a full refund. If you are unable to return your product to this store, contact your local authority / access their website for guidance on safe disposal of asbestos in your area. URGENT PRODUCT RECALL

We are writing to inform you of a product recall involving the following item purchased from us:

PRODUCT CODE – N65 314 DESCRIPTION – STRETCHY FRUITS 8-11CM 4 ASTD BATCH NUMBER – 504429 BARCODE – 5050203653140 / 5026619653142

AGE GRADING – 3+

Internal testing has identified that the product does not meet the requirements of the Toy Safety Regulations 2011, EN71 1 (Mechanical and Physical Properties) and EN71-3 (Migration of certain elements from toy materials) which has initiated the recall of this item. Testing has indicated that the sand-like material inside the product may be contaminated with a small quantity of asbestos. The overall risk is low; however we are recalling the affected item as a precaution

We require you to immediately examine your inventory and collect any remaining stock of the product. In addition, if you have distributed the product, please identify your customers and notify them of the recall. To facilitate this, you may include this recall notification letter in your correspondence to your customers. Please ask your customers to return any stock from the affected batches to you. Please then contact us and we will arrange collection and return of the items to us for disposal. Your assistance in completing this in an urgent manner is appreciated.
